The work in the garden continues! But it’s not flowers I’ve been working with the last few days..
It’s liquid rubber. It’s very viscous and odd to work with, but necessary. Our gutter along the edge of our concrete pathwaylong needed attention. Ages and ages ago it was sealed with some tar like substance, but it’s long since worn away and the concrete had become damaged.
We cleaned it out, pressure washed it, filled in the holes, and I have given it a double coat of liquid rubber.
Looks much better. Shame the wind keeps blowing things in it! Petals, feathers, and leaves have been blown about and they stick to it :S
We have also hung this chain so our climber, growing up the outside of the post, can continue to grow and go along it. That’s the plan anyway!
The work seems never ending, but it’s nice to have outdoor work to do.
Planting wise, I really really want a fruit tree next. I’m trying to decide where it can go… I’m hoping to get a victora plum because I love to eat the plums so much.
