This frog seems to have taken up residence in our left border. The shrubs there provide deep shade, and we always leave some long grass in that area, and apparently this frog likes the set up 🙂
We last noticed we had a frog a couple of years ago. It was in the same border (we have no pond yet), but then moved to the flower bed. I enjoy seeing them, even if they do have the habit of making me jump because I don’t know they’re there.
Tiger was out eating some grass last night and all of a sudden the grass started to move! She was so confused, but instinct took over and she started to hunt for what ever it was (I presumed froggy), so I grabbed her and took her in just in case.
I guess froggy will hang our for a while and start to fatten up for winter. We also have a slow worm again, we’ve been seeing them for the last couple of years. It’s in our slowly composting turf pile where it’s nice a warm.
The more wildlife I see, the more I’m glad I started gardening for wildlife! 😀
