The neighbours willow has this handy bird perch at the moment. It provides me with a good view of them too as the foliage isn’t in the way!
I have more photos of birds from around the garden to share…
The bird baths are well used this time of year. I’m glad I have so many in use and the walk to top them up takes me around the garden.
Speaking of which, I give you a siskin drinking from a chocolate shaped mug! Where else are you going to see that! 😉 This mug probably came with an Easter egg or something years ago, it’s hard to drink from so I did try to use it as a plant pot, but not it’s become a bird mug.
The siskins seem to have come back to me, but in smaller numbers. We did have loads earlier in the year. I still think I’ve seen a baby one too. And we can add one more to my tally of baby species this year because I saw a baby jackdaw being fed yesterday! Boy was it noisy!!
Here’s robin, hopefully only hiding a leg…
One of our local woodpeckers. Saw both male and female yesterday 🙂 They’re liking the suet pellets and the nuts. They also seem to like the new stump, they’ve taken few chunks out of the bark.
Robin again. I do love a robin; top three garden bird.
And to finish, a starling having some mealworms surrounded by blooms.
What’s your wildlife up to?
