I have loads of photos to edit and show you; with the garden blooming, and the birds so active, they’re piling up! But I haven’t had chance to go through them yet as I’ve been busy with other things (I did some re-pointing of our patio today), but I have a few ready.
Above you can see a very pretty male starling with his lovely iridescent colours showing.
And here is another using the bird bath; the new replacement stump really hasn’t bothered any of the birds, except perhaps the woodpeckers. They can probably grip this one easier as the bark is rougher, but it’s hasn’t got a stock of insect life yet.
Here’s a darling blue tit having a preen. Possibly one of our nesting blue tits.
And here’s robin, caught grabbing insects from the compost heap 😀
I saw a coal tit feeding a fledgeling today – the first I’ve seen in our garden 🙂 There’s so much going on, from coal tits to buzzards, they’re all busy busy busy! Lovely sound track for me to work to!
