It looks like the weather in my area is going to be rather wet for the next while, so here are some pretty flowers from my garden to add cheer to the gloom! 😉
My Mahonia is growing new leaves which come out soft and red, which adds a lovely dash of colour. They’ll harden and go green and spiked soon.
This is a new shrub called Escallonia Gold Brian, which has golden leaves.
I thought Ragged Robin preferred wet areas, but somehow I have some growing in my oval flower bed where it’s sunny and dry!
My border continues to fill in. I have to keep taking photos to try and keep track of it! It changes so much so quickly and is different every year.
The Sea thrift is out
My Ox eye daisies have started to bloom since I took these photos, soon the meadow will be full of them. At the moment it’s the vetch’s turn!
Here’s the current outlook..

If the coming rain is heavy, I hope it doesn’t flatten the meadow.
