I keep saying it, but things really are taking off in the garden. Lots of my plants have burst into bloom, and it’s lovely. So here are some of them 🙂
At the top, we have my new Anemone. It’s settled in really well and is producing lots of pretty flowers 🙂
This is the spindle shrub I put in new last year. It’s flowering for the first time!
This Guelder rose was put in the same time as the spindle, and is flowering for the first time as well.
Glimmers of golden buttercups have appeared.
The Red campion has had a growth spurt.
My Aquilegia are blooming too.
It’s so nice to see so much green. The garden always looks so empty in winter, even with the few winter flowering species I’ve added for the bees.
What’s adding a welcome splash of colour to your patch?
