Over the last several days I have been working on our new patio cover…
I sanded all the wood and we used wood filler for any gaps or imperfections, and for the last two days I’ve been painting it green.
I think it looks much better, and it’s only had one coat so far.
This is the “before”
The “after” image is at the top, and you can also see how autumnal the garden is now.
We have ‘hit and miss’ panels down the left side as a wind break, and I’ve started painting those today; it’s going to take a while! May have to take a break depending on the weather.
We are thinking of painting the fence down the right of the garden (back of the border) in the future. What colour do you think? I don’t think green will work – I’d like the colour to help the plants stand out. I’ll probably go for a brown shade to look natural… but I sometimes wonder; there are nice garden paints out there.. blues, and purples, and more. I wish I was bolder sometimes, but it probably wouldn’t fit my garden.
