Here’s another floral tour of some of the flowers in my garden this summer 🙂
Above is a new flowering shrub that will hopefully grow and form an evergreen hedge with the other shrubs I have. It’s called Escallonia Apple blossom.
I love the look of poached egg flowers!
I finally got some borage to grow this year and the bees seem happy I did!
This is Salvia. I took a risk and moved it this year, I don’t think it was doing very well where it was.
Thyme – I love the smell of the leaves when I brush by it 🙂
Wild candy tuft
It’s all slowly coming together 🙂
An upcoming project may involve a climber. So far I don’t know much about growing them, so if anyone has recommendations for easy to grow climbers that would help. It would be mostly North facing, we have neutral soil – mostly clay I think. It would be to grow up a thick wooden support, but we can attach trellis or something to that. I have had a very cursory look at star jasmine and Campsis ‘indian summer’. Obviously bee, butterfly, or moth attractiveness is a plus 🙂
