Here are some pictures of the pretty flowers I’ve managed to grow as part of my project to turn my garden into a wildlife garden.
This, and the above image, is Sweet rocket. It smells great and it looks good all day and into the evening. The insects love it too.
Red campion – a hit with the bees
Cowslip – a new additon
Plantains – a big deal in my meadow area
Cornflower – I love the flower structure
Mouse ear – this has recently started growing in my meadow area
Blue eyed grass – a new addition I bought from CJ wildlife
Dead nettle – a weed to most, but I keep some for the bees
Wallflower/Erysimum – this smells soooo good! Like honey!
What gets the bees buzzing in your patch?
