Today I have a clip of blackbirds in the garden, including bath time, for you. It’s really important to make sure you have water available in the garden for your birds and other wildlife, especially when it’s hot.
I regularly see many species of garden birds making use of our bird baths and water bowls, the starlings are especially fun to watch.
We give any overripe fruit to the blackbirds, which they seem to enjoy as you can see below. And I happened to have the camera when I saw a blackbird acting odd, then I remembered I have a bird bath there hidden by the grass we let get long for the insects!!
