World Oceans Day is recognised by the United Nations and is celebrated all over the world every June 8th to raise awareness about the threats our oceans faces, and it’s importance to life on earth.
Oceans, as an integral part of our biosphere, are very important to the survival of all life; they produce oxygen, regulate climate, feed us, supply medicine, and support life. There are many threats to our oceans including overfishing and pollution.
