If you love Blackbirds, you’ll love this post 😀
I have a few friendly Blackbirds who visit my garden, and know me enough now that they aren’t bothered by me. This means they are the easiest of my garden birds to get photos of, and that means I have lots of them! Here are a recent bunch!
This series is from when one of the Blackbirds landed on our fence and preceded to preen himself 🙂
See the little white bits in the air? Mr B flicked them there!
After preening Mr B flexed his wings and then flew off.
This is the Mr B with a ring on his leg. He looks rather startled here!
Here he is on our poppy feeder
I’ve caught this Mr B just as he’s about to take off to land on a feeder – that’s what he’s looking up at.
Mr B is resting in the sun beside our squirrel water bowl here. One of them often rests here 🙂
This Mr B is so relaxed, even knowing I’m there, he’s got his eyes closed
Peek-a-boo though Daffodil leaves..
That’s it 😀 Hopefully I’ll get some good ones of them feeding youngsters soon!
