Though it’s still winter, I’ve got my eye on spring. I think a lot of birds have too.
This means I’ve been thinking about my plans for the garden this year. I’ve got lots of seeds to sow and I will be getting more shrubs that are attractive to wildlife, including ones with berries for the birds.
I’ve given in to temptation and got them some more feeders too.
From CJ Wildlife I got the fiesta diner, drinker and nester.
So far I’ve only had them out a bit. We’ve had some strong wind and I don’t want to risk any damage.
Our robin is the only one I’ve seen to be brave enough to try them out. It grabbed a treat from the diner.
The birds are going to be so spoilt this year. The shrubs I’m getting are recommended for wildlife, such as Spindle, and Guelder rose. I’m also after some evergreens and I have some Escallonia coming. I can’t wait to get them, but most of them I can’t order just yet. I’m going to have to be patient.
What does the wildlife love in your garden? Any recommendations?
