Since starting our garden project the garden has changed dramatically but I didn’t realise just how much until I came across some old photos.
Read on to see the difference between the before and after photos!
This was taken a few years before we started the project. The cherry tree died and was removed except for the stump. That now holds one of our bird baths which you can see in the after photos.
The left hand fence was changed and most of the home made swing was removed before the start of the project.
If you have this photo on screen with the previous one you can really see the difference.
In just a couple of years these changes were made (and it’s not over yet!). The biggest change being the meadow area.

The amount of wildlife in our garden has increased and I’d like to think it’s due to the changes we’ve made. It’s certainly easier to get some photos of critters like these and the Robin at the top 😀
I hope this inspires some of you to make the most of your patch, we are lucky to have a big garden, but with planning little spaces can benefit a lot of wildlife 🙂
