Back in August 2013 I did a ranger day at the Wildlife Heritage Foundation.
I had a great day helping Briony, the keeper, with looking after the cats. We poopa scooped, cleaned away bones & feathers, cleaned and filled water bowls, and fed the cats.
Here are a few photos…
This is Nias, who I am feeding with a chicken leg.

This is my hand on Tamir who is a huuuuge tiger!
We fed many of the cats on site including the tawny lions. This is Tiny..
This is Manzi
And this, I think is Samia, though it could be her daughter Jewa.
I learnt a lot about what it is like to be a keeper and I really enjoyed the day. 😀
If you like big cats I definitely recommend visiting the WHF. The experience days and open days are brilliant and the staff are wonderful and knowledgeable.
