I’m so behind with photos; this update is for July!
There isn’t much gardening activity to report. The meadow area was left to grow… I did add some plants to the border and we got a couple of evergreen shrubs too. I kept trying to choose ones for wildlife of course, and even followed the bees in the garden centre once and they chose a plant! 😉
And flowers had appeared.. (click for bigger)
We didn’t get as many flowers as I had hoped, but it is the meadows first year and we have plans to add to it.
The Lupin from our kind neighbours had already flowered and gone to seed.
Other border plants were in bloom..
And last but not least, raspberries! Fruit for us and the birds to enjoy!
That’s it for now. I have finished editing the rest of July and can now start in on August!
Coming up: Bees, a squirrel, aircraft, more flora, cats, birds, butterflies, deer, mushrooms, ducks, fireworks, woodland and a partridge in a pear tree.
