I visited the Wildlife Heritage Foundation again earlier this month (15AUG2012).
This time I left the DSLR in the car as there was a higher risk of rain and I’m yet to buy it a jacket! I love taking photos, but this allowed me to just enjoy the day and the cats with my own eyes.
I did however take my little camera and I recorded some videos instead. You can watch these on YouTube. My WHF playlist is HERE.
There was a massive increase in the amount of people that were there. It’s fantastic that the word is out about the WHF I hope lots of funds were raised for the cats.
I had a wonderful time and saw some of the cats I missed last time. I still haven’t seen the Serval kittens out and playing, but I did catch a glimpse of their heads through the window of their den. They are the cutest little cats ever (except my cat of course).
There is an atmosphere to the WHF that makes me feel like I just want to stay there. It’s so relaxed and friendly and completely focused on the cats and what is best for them. My kind of place 🙂
I’m no writer so I really feel that I’m failing big time trying to say what the WHF is like, but watch the videos, that will give you a glimpse of how amazing it is. And if you have the chance to visit, I recommend it. And if you can donate that would be wonderful 😀
